As part of GRP Group, Green Insurance have been providing insurance services and advice for business and private clients for over 40 years. With offices throughout Kent and Sussex, we offer a wide range of insurance services for commercial organisations and private clients.

We are now recruiting for an Account Executive to join our team, servicing our client’s insurance requirements, generating new business, managing renewals, mid-term adjustments and supporting claims. Our Account Executives take the time to understand client’s needs and develop robust and competitive solutions on which to rely. In addition, you will provide advice on risk management and prevention for customers, in partnership with underwriters and will generate enquiries by proactively managing a robust sales pipeline developed through, amongst others, networking, outbound calls and digital marketing.

Based at our Folkestone office the role will also involve travelling to clients, insurers or other premises which in some instances may be completed outside of normal office hours; there is also the option of occasional working from home.

As an Account Executive you’ll have extensive insurance industry experience with ideally a Dip CII, or be working towards this or happy to obtain it in the future. You will be inheriting a mature book from a retiring Executive, and building relationships with these existing clients whilst building and servicing your own book of clients, through New Business sales.

You must be confident with relevant IT systems, and be able to hit the ground running. Due to the nature of this role it is essential you have solid knowledge of all commercial business classes and a strong work ethic. Excellent interpersonal skills is also a must.
