Manpower UK Ltd are currently recruiting HGV (Class 2 Drivers) to work for our national client Calor Gas.
-The driver will deliver gas bottles to commercial and domestic customers, ie. hot dog stands, home deliveries.
-Bottles delivered on trolleys provided in each vehicle
-Cash handling when taking payments (safes fitted in majority of vehicles).
-Connect and disconnect the gas bottles (sizes 3.9kg - 94kg when full)
-Operate tail lift on vehicles
-Role requires driver to climb onto vehicle and move bottles
Being a Multi-Drop Driver for Calor means more than simply getting from A to B. You will ensure that our LPG products are delivered and unloaded safely, dealing with customers and handling LPG cylinders yourself. So you must be customer focused and ready to bring some real energy to our business. You should also be aware that this is a very physically demanding role.
LPG is a modern, clean, environmentally friendly fuel with an essential role to play in the future of our rural communities. We deliver to many customers in hard-to-reach, isolated places so we rely on our drivers to build their knowledge of the local area, get to know customers and provide a reliable, friendly and helpful service. There are lots of opportunities to use your initiative too, such as identifying cross-selling opportunities for the customers you visit.
Calor Drivers deliver during standard working hours because we want you to get to know customers and find out what else the company can do for them. Were looking for individuals who can take ownership of their areas, looking after customers and becoming the regular, recognisable and friendly face of Calor.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Multi-drop delivery and hold a current Class-2 license, CPC and ADR certificate in gasses- packages.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary, full training on the vehicle and equipment and then once trained, deliver LPG gas to both commercial and domestic customers.
The position is full time, temporary work potentially ongoing for the ideal candidate.
The location is Oxford.
