Based within the Marketing Department which consists of 5 personnel, the role reports directly to the Managing Director and involves managing and coordinating the Company's Marketing and PR requirements. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to work in a cross skilled Marketing Department. The Marketing Department operates as an internal full-service agency - and is very closely engaged across the whole business, but particularly with the various specialist sales teams.

The main duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

the management of the Marketing and PR function.
the co-ordination of all key marketing projects including management of relevant areas of the budget.
Writing and controlling all press releases, comments, columns and features in the Trade press, Consumer press, National and Regional media and the Internet.
The role will involve travel and entertaining with media contacts as required.
The coordination of exhibitions and events
Close liaison with the Digital Marketing team in all aspects

Experience and Person Specification

Excellent IT skills which include Microsoft Access, Word, Excel & Outlook
Good understanding of business, specifically with experience within a marketing environment
A good communicator and listener - excellent social skills
A strong team player
Practical in their approach to problem solving and ability to work with the minimum of supervision

Hours of Work

8.45 a.m. to 4.45 p.m. Monday to Friday


Salary - dependant upon experience

Includes Company Pension Scheme
