Editorial and Production Assistant

Troubador Publishing Ltd are seeking an Editorial and Production Assistant to work in the company's busy book production department. Working on a range of fiction and non-fiction titles, the successful candidate will be involved with the editorial and production side of books. The post is an ideal opportunity to learn about a range of tasks in the publishing world in a successful commercial publishing house. 

Full training in all aspects of the position will be given, but candidates are expected to be computer literate and have an excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken. Good customer skills are essential, as is a solid work ethic. 

The company publishes over 600 new titles a year in both physical and ebook formats across range of genres. The post is an excellent introduction to the word of commercial publishing for the right candidate seeking a career in book publishing. 

Troubador is based in two buildings just outside the village of Kibworth (between Leicester and Market Harborough) in modern offices.
