About Us

We are Advance, a women-only organisation dedicated to helping women cope and recover from experiences of domestic abuse, as well as women who are at risk of offending or with short term sentences to reduce offending.

We’ve expanded our services significantly over the past two years, with our annual income increasing to over £3.5m. Further growth has taken our team to over 95 and our services will support well over 3,000 women and their children.

We’re now looking for a Senior Services Manager to oversee the delivery of services that support women who are in contact with the criminal justice system.

The Benefits

- Salary circa £43,000 DOE (including London weighting)
- Pension
- 30 days’ holiday per annum plus Bank Holidays
- A day off for International Women’s Day

This is an amazing opportunity to take on an exciting new challenge and make a real difference in one of Advance’s most senior service delivery roles.

We are a pioneering organisation that believes in empowering women and girls to lead safe, non-violent, equal lives so that they can flourish and contribute to the community.

Joining an open, supportive and innovative environment, you will have the chance to drive the success of services that are helping women and children succeed.

About You

To join us as the Senior Services Manager, you will need:

- An in-depth understanding of issues relating to women in the criminal justice system
- A good understanding of the operation of local and national government, the criminal justice system and public sector environment in which services operate
- An understanding of safeguarding adult and child principles, child abuse and child protection issues
- Knowledge of organisational systems and frameworks, line management and project management
