The Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Refinery Scheduler.

The role has the primary responsibility to develop & execute refinery schedules in line with the optimised EPS monthly plan and scheduled operations within refinery operating windows. Whilst at the same time maintaining focus on stocks targets and Product Quality (PQ) Assurance.

As a Refinery Scheduler you will be implementing in-month refinery and products optimisation activities with supply teams. The role’s work scope may vary according to the assigned area of scheduling responsibilities namely Process Units, feedstocks, Products and Logistics.
 

About You

Our ideal candidate should have relevant experience in refinery technology, oil movements or supply, distribution & commercial marketing. 

You must have highly developed numerical and technical aptitude. Specific knowledge of Spiral Schedule, Spiral Assay and ProcessBook, would be an advantage however this is not essential. In addition you will have the ability to make decisions based on fluctuating information and the capability to work under pressure.

The successful candidate will have strong influencing, communication, negotiation and team working skills, including an ability to deal cross-functionally and with senior stakeholders of the business.
