Duties and Responsibilities:

Gauge user needs and utilize Web UI Development and visualization expertise to build applications and services for Citadel’s investment professionals. This will require strong web development skills to rapidly iterate, prototype, and implement data visualizations using advanced design and development methods in JavaScript, Python, HTML/CSS, d3 and/or Tableau.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Work as part of an established, experienced development team to build best in class technology platforms
  • Design and develop cross platform applications using Advanced JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and 3rd party tools
  • Contribute new ideas/best practices to the business by providing teams with information architecture skills to prototype new technology concepts and prove out strategic alternatives
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration with business users and peer technology teams
  • Design, develop and deploy new web applications using HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS, internal/external frameworks, and 3rd party tools
  • Provide application support to multiple businesses globally

 

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Great at building responsive and user-friendly single-page applications in React, Redux, Webpack, HTML5, CSS
  • Experience with React.js, Angular.js or other JavaScript frameworks
  • Experience with data storage and data search functions i.e. elastic search
  • Exposure to deployment & infrastructure tools including but not limited to; docker, Jenkins, ansible, puppet.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Financial industry experience
  • Bachelors of Science (Master Degree preferred) in engineering, computer science, or mathematics.
