Croydon Head Office (travel to the Cannon Street Office may on occasion be required)
Our client works to protect the futures of millions of people in the UK who belong to defined benefit pension schemes. Their members rely on them to look after their pensions if their employers go bust and the pension schemes cannot afford to pay what they promised.
They’re looking for a Senior Desktop Support Analyst to join their team based in Croydon.
As a critical and senior customer-facing member of a transforming Technology and Change directorate, you will raise, manage and resolve incidents for the business, deal with requests that range in complexity, support the team lead in operational control and communicate effectively with customers to deliver exceptional customer service.
They require a technically-adept individual experienced within a second line / third line support role in a business critical environment, i.e. a technical service management function.
As an excellent communicator you will have a customer-service focused attitude with a desire to put customers first, understanding and delivering a service that meets their needs. You will have strong knowledge of ITIL processes and a sound understanding of IT hardware / software solutions. Any IT-related qualifications (computer certifications, higher-education or degree) and experience guiding / mentoring more junior colleagues would be desirable.
