We are currently seeking a Repairs and Maintenance Team Leader to lead an efficient responsive repairs, maintenance and refurbishment service.



In this key role you will manage the daily operations of the PropertyPlus Operatives and ensure correct quality of work to enable the team to successfully achieve agreed objectives. Motivating and developing the Operatives you will carry out fortnightly one to ones, provide appropriate advice and guidance and proactively liaise with tenants, clients, suppliers and contractors.



You must be able to demonstrate a technical knowledge and have a good understanding of building, repair, maintenance and refurbishment to domestic properties, ideally in social housing. It is desirable that you also have a general knowledge of CDM 2015 and housing sector standards.



The successful candidate will also have experience of water supply repairs, drainage repair, drain jetting, moling and general wet trade work.



A standard education along with an NVQ level 2 in building maintenance is also required.



As part of this position, you will be provided with training in the following areas: Scaffolding inspections, Asbestos awareness and CDM.



Due to the nature of the role a full driving licence is required along with the ability to be able to work on an evening or weekend.
