Receivables Assistant

Two Accounts Receivable/Credit Control professionals to join established and successful business in Aylesbury.

Your new Company

Is an established and successful business in distribution and logistics. Based in large offices in Aylesbury they are expanding to accommodate recent acquisitions.

Your new role

You will join an experienced team to look after major retail outlets such as supermarkets and online stores.

Your duties include

• Allocating payments by posting into GDS system and requesting remittances as needed
• Managing client contact in a regular and professional manner
• Maximise Collections - credit control
• Provide accurate and timely reports both externally and internally
• Manage queries effectively within guidelines to maximise income.
• Use customer portals and a generic inbox to manage queries effectively
• Assist with raising credit notes or invoices as required

What you'll need to succeed

Proven experience in a receivables/credit control role. You will have an excellent and professional manner on the phone and in written communication. You will be confident in manipulating data in Excel (pivot tables). Experience of using customer portals or working with major online retailers is an advantage but not essential.

A very competitive basic salary commensurate with experience. You will have 25 days holiday plus bank holidays - hours are 9 am to 5pm Monday to Friday. You will join a growing company at an exciting time.
