SES Water supplies water to 712,000 people in the London Boroughs of Sutton, Merton, and Croydon, as well as across East Surrey and parts of Kent. We are a forward thinking, innovative company that is highly regarded for our efficiency and customer service.
We currently have an opportunity for two Meter Readers to join our team based in Redhill. The main responsibilities of this role will include reading and recording of the company’s revenue water meters using visual and automated techniques. You will provide advice to customers when needed, assist with administration and the compilation of statistics and records.
To be successful you will have worked within a similar role previously, Ideally with experience of using electronic tracing equipment. It would be an advantage to have experience using GIS, have knowledge of water pumps and NRSWA signing / lighting (note these are desirable and not essential to be successful). You will have the ability to communicate effectively and be competent using a computer with packages such as Excel. Due to the nature of the role you will be required to hold a full driving licence.
