About Us

With over 120 years’ experience, Lhoist utilises the properties of lime and minerals to create bespoke, sustainable solutions for a variety of sectors.

We’re now looking for a two Maintenance Apprentices to join our team in Hindlow for four year apprenticeship programmes with North Staffordshire Engineering Group Training Association Limited to gain Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeships in Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance.

Your Role

As a Maintenance Apprentice, you will undertake an engaging apprenticeship that will equip you with a range of maintenance skills and experience and enable your maintenance career to thrive.

You will gain knowledge of how to support site operations within a variety of disciplines and will work with Process Operators as well as the maintenance teams.

Once your apprenticeship is complete, a number of different career avenues may become open to you with our highly successful company, potentially leading to a rewarding and exciting career.

About You

Although no experience or specific qualifications are required, to be considered as a Maintenance Apprentice, you will need:

- An interest in engineering
- A technical mindset
- The willingness to learn and develop
- A close attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
