The brand prides itself as the most trusted digital news brand in the UK and attracts 'free-thinkers' seeking quality, concise journalism. Part of JPIMedia and with over 200 local and national news titles including The Scotsman, The Yorkshire Post and The Portsmouth News we are one of the largest media groups in the UK.
We are currently launching an exciting programme of new events for the i and we are seeking a dynamic Events & Partnerships Executive. This position offers the opportunity for an ambitious individual to play a key role in developing our events offering, which in turn will create promotion opportunities for the right person to develop their career as the business grows.
Reporting to the Head of Sponsorship & Partnerships you will be responsible for generating and growing revenue streams across some of the UK's biggest brands. You will have the opportunity to contribute to new event solutions as we build our portfolio. You will be happy to develop sales collateral and bespoke sales presentations to secure new business from a cross section of client categories.
The successful candidate will be an excellent sales professional and have a creative and consultative approach to fulfilling client briefs as well as thriving on winning new business and hitting targets. First and foremost we are looking for a successful salesperson who is looking for their next challenge. Event sales experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
You will be self-motivated, have a proactive approach to business and, most importantly, be a team player. In return JPIMedia offers a competitive salary and bonus scheme, holiday buy back, company pension and adopts agile working practices.
