Qlikview Developer
As the Qlikview Developer you will be working for a national automotive organisation headquartered near Southampton with offices across the UK and the world.
Your new role
As a Qlikview Developer, you will be responsible for the following:
Contribute to the definition of the BI strategy for the business and the technical delivery of the same.
Develop, enhance, re-engineer, maintain and support BI applications to create robust services around BI to inform business decision-making.
Understand all the data that the business holds and create sustainable reporting solutions ensuring the accuracy of the data.
Test fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved.
Participate in the analysis of trends and common issues to prevent future problems
Perform software analysis on applications to identify areas for improvement
Create and maintain technical documentation using defined technical documentation templates.
Work closely with other members of the IT development and support teams to offer integrated solutions.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position, you will have the following:
QlikView / QlikSense experience
Data Modelling and Transformation
TSQL
Reporting Toolkits (SSRS, PowerBI etc.)
Data Analysis
Data Warehousing
RAD, Agile software development
Strong analytical skills
Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate effectively with the technical teams and stakeholders
