I am looking for a true 'people-person' to be actively involved in managing the existing client portfolio and generating new business; responsible for revenue generation, risk management and act as key customer interface for the organisation. The aspects for this pivotal role are: product delivery, risk management and profitability.

On offer, is a permanent, full time opportunity with a salary up to GBP25K + attractive terms and conditions, including annual bonus, pension package and a range of flexible benefits and rewards.

As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Being the first of contact for strategic clients for answering queries, providing case updates and weekly/monthly reporting
  • Proactively managing your own clients portfolio to ensure the customer is supported and informed on all services
  • Identifying new business opportunities and working closely to leverage these with the relevant Sales Manager
  • Reviewing and developing processes and procedures to support customer service continuous improvement
  • Ensuring business retention, developing existing customer portfolio with the aim of maximising customer profitability and customer service.
  • The management of customer portfolios, providing accurate reporting to high level, key stakeholders

There will be an element of travel involved with this position; mainly within the UK to visit new and existing clients as alongside the Sales Manager.

To be considered for this position, you will need:

  • A high customer orientation / customer focus
  • To be a great communicator who easily engages and interacts with new and existing customers using a broad range of channels (Social Media, Telephone, Email) and who has the ability to quickly build rapport
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills

  • The ability to work efficiently and effectively, using multiple systems
