My client has an excellent opportunity within the Hospitality industry for a Business Development Manager to grow sales and corporate events within their four venues based across Edinburgh and Aberdeen. Responsibilities in this role include:
Identifying new business opportunities for the group
Tailoring bespoke event packages for clients with a strong focus on B2B but also B2C
Emphasising flexibility to clients for all group sizes using information about function space, menus, price points and service styles
Utilising contacts and personal networks to build new relationships for the business
Working within agreed budgets and margins to maximise appeal to all parties
Retaining clients and relationships to encourage repeat business
Working cooperatively with marketing and event teams to promote and support business development
Analysing results on a YOY basis to ensure business growth
The successful candidate will have:
Strong sales background, preferably within the hospitality industry
Exceptional communication skills with a passion for the business and what you can bring to it
A proven track record of converting leads to confirmed business
Experience in clear, strategic planning and beating targets
Positive attitude, self-motivated with a desire to succeed
