Payroll and Accounts Assistant | Telford, Shropshire | GBP21,000 - GBP25,000 | Temporary to Permanent Job

Seymour John, Shropshire, are working with a growing business in Telford who have undergone a number of positive changes in recent years.

The Company

An established Telford based business who have experienced a number of positive changes in recent years are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic payroll and accounts assistant to join their established finance team.

The Opportunity

As payroll and accounts assistant you will take sole responsibility for the end-to-end running of weekly payroll for 100 - 150 staff, as well as looking after accounting tasks (primarily on the accounts receivable side to include proactive credit control work)

You will be:

* Processing payroll using Sage payroll

* Handling employee queries

* Supporting with accounts tasks to include credit control and sales ledger tasks

* Submitting RTI to HMRC

* Applying auto-enrolment at staging dates

* Other general admin tasks as required to include answering incoming calls and handling queries

The Individual

The successful applicant will have proven payroll experience. You will need first-class customer service and communication skills and will need to demonstrate a hands-on work-ethic owing to the variety offered within this role.
