We are looking for an energetic OISC Level 2 Immigration Adviser for an exciting position working with non-UK homeless migrants. Led by our Migrant Destitution Senior Caseworker, you will be responsible for the delivery of immigration advice and casework to rough-sleeping migrants assisted by St Mungo's services. You will need to explore sensitively the options for homeless people to regularise their immigration status and access services and support. Recently, our charity has been key in uncovering the Windrush Scandal and evidence arising from your work will be used to advocate for migrants' rights and for immigration issues to be seen as a support need, rather than as a barrier to accessing support.

The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of the issues faced by refugees, asylum seekers and migrants at risk. S/he will have a good understanding of the challenges faced by these groups, including destitution and inability to access services due to 'no recourse to public funds' status. S/he will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a range of stakeholders.
