Your new company is a global organisation in the logistics sector who are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join their team in the Widnes area on a full time permanent basis.

Your new role
In your new role, reporting to the Group Marketing Director, you will work strategically to provide marketing support both within the UK business and internationally, developing the marketing function and team and to deliver against key business objectives. You will support in the development of the communications strategy and marketing calendar as well as planning, delivery and reporting of campaigns. As such you will provide analysis of key metrics and report on performance and ROI in order to make recommendations to senior level stakeholders. Day to day you will be responsible for marketing and communications across the full marketing mix including delivery of events and attendance at exhibitions. You will be responsible for brand management and ensuring brand consistency across the business as well as providing sales support. Additionally you will assume line management responsibility for the Marketing Executive providing coaching and day to day support.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you must have prior demonstrable experience in a similar B2B marketing role where you have have delivered strategic communications and campaigns across the full marketing mix. You will be a strategic thinker and strong project manager. You must be competent in the use of CRM and CMS systems and have a strong understanding of PPC and SEO methodologies as well as use of social media and analytical tools. You will be a confident and credible communicator able to present with gravitas and able to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels within the business.
