Role responsibilities

As the Principal Project Manager, you will report directly into our Regional Portfolio Lead and Regional Delivery Manager, covering the East/West region.

As this is a senior project management opportunity, this role will require someone with extensive project management experience, as well as leading other project managers across the project implementation.

In detail you will

  • Provide high quality, professional project management services to customers and prospects.
  • Manage all aspects of assigned projects including planning, monitoring, control, reporting and communication to achieve succesful implementations, delivered to the required quality, time and budget, in particular:
  • Assist with ITT responses, estimates, project plans and other pre-sales activities.
  • Assist service delivery management in the identification and implementation of new processes and methodologies
  • Assume responsibilities on customer site of project team management
  • Customer stakeholder management
  • Provide guidance to customer project team members on site and act as project lead on behalf of the customer
  • Provide weekly highlight reporting and financial reports to customer Chief Finance Officer
  • Collate and distribute consultancy agendas to all members of the customer project team
  • Ensure all customer assigned work packages are completed on time; ready for MHR consultancy to attend site
  • Manage RAID log on behalf of the customer; highlighting Risks and Issues to the Project Sponsor
  • Manage and direct internal customer project team meetings; providing honest and candid feedback to all team members
  • Provide Project Board with relevant sign off documentation for each phase/stage of the project
  • Ensure consultancy Activity Reports are distributed to relevant members of the customer internal project team
  • Assume responsibility of the customer project team on site Continually liaise with customers to actively manage project risks and issues and extend consultancy involvement.
  • Maintain ownership of risks and issues in conjunction with customers, escalating only when necessary.
  • Manage all projects in line with MAPI governance
  • Hold regular, at least monthly, project review meetings with each customer.
  • Provide support to customer project team at monthly project board meetings
  • Continually identify and drive additional commercial opportunities.
  • Provide financial budgetary control reports for all project costs against the terms and conditions of the services agreement.
  • Produce accurate weekly revenue forecasts.
  • Support Service Delivery management team to ensure revenue targets are met as per the business plan.
