Join our team as Sector Specialist - Professional Services to provide sector expertise and support of delivery. Reporting to the Sector Lead for Professional Services, this is a group wide role working closely with Quality, Operations, and Sales.
You will be responsible for supporting the Sector Lead in the overall product and curriculum development, quality of delivery, quality monitoring and assurance and the training and ongoing monitoring and the overall success of the sector's suite of apprenticeship programmes within their remit. You will also be required to support the Sector Lead with the growth and development of sector apprenticeship Standards.
Our ideal candidate will have a passion for designing, developing and delivering high quality, inspirational training programmes and support every learner to succeed. Excellent planning, organisation and presentation skills, along with the ability to prioritise effectively based in a demanding, fast paced environment.
You will require extensive knowledge, competency and exposure in the following sectors and/or related industries;
* Journalism and content production
* Broadcast production
* PR, marketing, sales and events
* Digital marketing and social media
* Marketing communication advertising
This is a national role and will require extensive travel.
Key Responsibilities
* To support the Sector Lead to provide end-to-end support in the curriculum design, quality assurance, programme design, the review of teaching and learning and monitoring of apprenticeship programmes
* Design and develop high quality, stimulating learning programmes to extend apprentices' knowledge, skills and behaviours to benefit their future career paths and to impact positively on employer objectives
* Work closely with quality, operations, sales teams and employers to develop curriculum to ensure programmes meet or exceeds learner and employer expectations by providing a professional and quality curriculum and robust quality assurance and improvement processes
* Develop clear journey maps and delivery models, created to identify progress milestones and EPA requirements for all learners
* Ensure that gateway and EPA is planned and executed effectively and in a timely manner
* Design and create inclusive training materials
* Ensure that all learning and apprenticeship provision is being delivered in a consistent manner across sector programmes and to the specified standard
Skills & Experience
* Either hold or working towards a recognised teaching, assessing or quality assurance qualification
* Hold sector specific qualifications or have equivalent proven track record of sector specific experience
* Excellent understanding of the Apprenticeship Levy and the requirements of Apprenticeship Standards
* Good quality assurance experience
* Proven experience of successful curriculum and course content development
* Excellent understanding of Ofsted requirements and the current Apprenticeship provision
* Good working knowledge of all Microsoft packages and technology conducive to building programmes
* Solid experienced of teaching, learning and delivering training sessions within the FE or ITP sector
* Experience in the evaluation of teaching and learning standards through the application of observation processes
* Up-to-date Functional Skills knowledge
* Experience of supporting staff development
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* Full, clean UK driving licence
Location: Remote working - you will have no permanent place of work and will be required to attend various locations in the course of your working week. You are entitled to claim business mileage/travel expenses and for these purposes we will use your home address as your base location
