A qualified accountant is required to lead and motivate a busy finance team. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, works well under pressure and has great attention to detail.

The Role

As the Finance Manager, you will be tasked with the day-to-day running of the firm's finance department.

Directly line managing a team of eight members, you will oversee the preparation of management accounts, work-in-progress reports and chargeability reports. You will be involved in data analysis, VAT and monthly payroll processing using OpenPeople and OpenHR.

Additionally, you will assist with audit processes, take part in cash management and analysis and support the Head of Finance.

About You

To be considered as the Finance Manager, you will need:

- To be a qualified accountant
- Experience of managing a team
- Strong, demonstrable analytical skills
- Experience of preparing concise and insightful reports
- Previous experience with high volumes of transactions 
- Demonstrable experience of processing payroll and VAT 
- Strong MS Excel skills
