Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Press Officer to join their busy press office and support their Media Manager raise awareness and promote the Company, as well as safeguard its reputation within the press.

In this newly created role, you will be involved in all media activities including engagement with local and national press and working closely with external suppliers including a PR agency. You will respond to press queries, support delivery of proactive media campaigns and draft reactive media lines, press releases, articles, blogs and press briefings.

Their ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience from within a media/ press/ journalist/ PR facing role where you have written articles for a range of audiences.  You will have strong communication skills (oral and written) along with the ability to prioritise workload.
