Hours: 37.5 hours per week (banking 30 minutes per week to be used towards the shutdown at Christmas and New Year)

Are you an experienced Housing professional looking for an opportunity to work proactively in a customer focused environment?  As a Housing Business Analyst you will be responsible for the operation of a number of key ICT systems within the Housing Service. This includes the provision of system support for current ICT systems and involvement in projects to implement new ICT systems and functionality to bring efficiencies to Housing’s business.

The Business Support Team is responsible for the delivery of ICT projects, system module implementations and new system functionality to support the Council’s ICT strategy and corporate priorities. The successful candidate will not only play a lead role in delivering ICT projects but also operate a systems helpdesk for both internal and external users, carry out system maintenance and upgrades, assist with the mapping of business processes and their translation into system configuration, writing system reports and working closely with other teams across the Council.

You should have a sound working knowledge and experience of working within a team supporting ICT applications and assisting users, preferably relating to Housing. You will have experience of data reporting and displaying information in different formats for different audiences. The successful candidate will have experience of documenting system configuration, carrying out training for users and producing training guides and materials.

You will also have experience of working on project teams and working with key stakeholders to define business requirements and processes. You will possess an understanding of the process to support and implement ICT systems as well as a proven track record of working within a pressurised, customer focused environment, coupled with the ability to communicate effectively at different organisational levels.

The job role has a requirement to be available to work or attend meetings outside of normal working hours.

Harlow is situated in the M11 corridor, with easy links to Cambridge and North London.
