Outreach Worker - Homelessness - Coventry- 12 Weeks - GBP9.53 - GBP10.48 per hour - Full time - Minimum weekends
Your new company
A well established Housing Association with hubs situated all over the midlands who are currently for an Outreach Worker. The nature of this funded project is to provide a service to rough sleepers on the streets of Coventry.
Your new role
As an Outreach worker, you will be part of a project that is to support as many homeless individuals as possible with support with finding accommodation and any other housing support that is required. You will ensure that people with complex needs and at times challenging behaviour are supported to achieve independent and fulfilled lives as well as to support customers to assess their needs, design and deliver support plans which help them achieve their goals.
What you'll need to succeed
As an Outreach Worker you will have experience working with the homeless previously, alongside a understanding around working with clients with mental health, substance misuse, alcohol abuse and learning disabilities. You desirable will also have experience of using a CRM system to record information. Ideally you will also have a DBS on the update service to be able to start immediately.
What you'll get in return
You will be paid an hourly rate between GBP9.53 & GBP10.48 depending on pay type. Hays will provide you with a DBS if one is not already on the update service. This is a 12 week, full time contract.
