Reporting Analyst, Bournemouth GBP25k - GBP30k

Butler Rose is proud to be supporting one of Bournemouth's leading businesses in their recruitment for a Reporting Analyst. Working for a well known brand you will be a key member of the finance team producing robust operational and financial reports and delivering high quality reports, ad-hoc analysis and presentations for the Management teams and Directors.

Key Responsibilities:

To work with the Reporting Team, helping the Finance Director and senior management colleagues to develop and continuously improve performance management reporting tools.
To support analysis and planning using Office software and Excel with responsibility for providing insightful analysis into business performance.
To act as key point of contact for Head Office to provide on-going support for operations teams in preparation of monthly analysis and reports together with any data analysis/insight required.
To provide performance management reporting monthly as required to assist the strategic decision-making requirements of senior management.
To provide ad-hoc analysis reports relating to the operational or statistical or financial data as required by senior management.
Act as a key point of contact for the Regional Managers, Head Office management and Board Directors providing ongoing support for their operational and performance related queries.
To assist in the production of reports and analysis of information for the purposes of supporting any strategic planning or decisions.

The person:

We are seeking an actively studying part qualified Accountant who has relevant experience and advanced Excel skills, (v-look ups, pivots, IF formulas). Ideally you will have previous experience in a fast-paced environment with a passion and focus to develop your career into an analyst specialism within the finance arena. Candidates should have a positive can do attitude, with strong levels of initiative, excellent problem solving skills and sound commercial awareness. Team work is essential for this role as you will be working in a close-knit team environment within a large finance department.
