They currently have 10 offices operating within the UK allowing them to provide their services nationwide. They specialise in providing environmental, health, safety, risk, and social consulting services to clients both in the private and public sector. They are currently looking to expand their team and are searching for an experienced Principal Ecologist.

For this role it is required that you have:

Strong communication, organisational, management, and IT skills;

Professional institution membership such as MCIEEM, Chartered Ecologist;
Extensive Phase 1 Habitat and Protected Species Surveys;
1 or more protected species survey licenses, preferably a bat or great crested newt licenses;
Previous EPS Licence holder (GCN or Bats), mitigation scheme and development license applications;
Report-writing and technical proofing skills

During your time at this role, you will be helping to develop both the team and the ecology area of the business, whilst working closely with other senior executives. You will also lead the successful expansion of the ecology consultancy function at an extremely exciting time for the Company. The role will suit an ecology professional who is looking to progress their career along a long-term rewarding path, in areas of technical expertise, team leadership, management, and business development, and who are at or above Principal or Associate Director level. Flexibility on location is available, with the ability to work at home for periods but regular access to Wolverhampton and Leeds would be required.
