The Cloud Solutions Architect Role:

This role will suit you if you love Technology and want to be in a business where you are using cutting edge tools and delivering best of breed solutions for hosted environments. You’ll not be scared of AWS or Azure and will have a strong background in Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

+ As a Solutions Architect, you are required to work closely with the sales function to assist in client requirements capture, solution design, solution pricing and presentation along with the creation and preparation of documentation to support the sales proposal and contract process
+ You will work with the Technical Services Director to assist with the identification of products and services which would serve to develop our portfolio of managed services products
+ You will work to gain skills relevant to your position with specific emphasis on Storage, Backup, Replication and Hyper Cloud Services

Your Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Essential

+ Server and Storage Family, EMC Software and Storage Solutions or equivalent technologies from other vendors
+ Working knowledge of Hyper Cloud providers such as AWS and Azure
+ Working knowledge of the Managed Service Provider (MSP) market, related products and its dynamics
+ Excellent operational delivery skills
+ Project management experience

Desirable

+ Experience of technical pre-sales in the MSP sector
+ Expertise in server hardware and software, Cisco networking and security technology, Linux and Windows environments and the design of best of breed IaaS solutions
+ Experience in attaining industry compliance standards
