PURPOSE OF ROLE: To provide administrative support in order to maximise manufacturing throughputs and efficiencies, whilst ensuring that orders are planned to be in the factory and ready to deliver to the customers on the promised date.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure production schedule is optimised to maximise throughput
  • Communicating the schedule to operations, and resolving conflicting priorities
  • Communicate any issues in not meeting the schedule to the Head of Production
  • Distribute revised schedules to all necessary parties
  • Receiving and answering delivery queries from sites
  • Printing and collating factory manufacture sheets
  • Understand the basics of the production process
  • Liaise between Design, Production admin and Factory

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • Great attention to detail
  • Educated to degree level in any subject related to science or maths within last 3 years
  • Have a drive and enthusiasm
  • Have an aptitude for problem-solving
  • Comfortable working with numbers
  • Excellent communicator (written and verbal) at all times
  • Excellent standard of IT skills/ Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and Word)
  • Customer-focused
  • Organised and calm under pressure

HOW MANY ROLES: 1

START DATE: ASAP

Interview dates: 17th and 18th September.

HOURS OF WORK: 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm

HOLIDAY: 20 days per annum
