The Job:

The business is looking for a highly organised and hardworking candidate to join the B2B Trading team as a Customer Support Executive. This role will involve assisting Senior Traders with back office support and Client Management. To help drive the success of the Trading Team and the business as a whole, he or she needs to be driven, enthusiastic and able to effectively manage client relationships.

This role is critical to the effective running of the trading desk as well as the retention of the clients. You will provide excellent customer service to clients, manage the administrative duties of the trading desk, and work effectively with key internal stakeholders.

  • Manage and delegate incoming Customer Service enquiries in a professional, friendly and diligent manner
  • Assist clients with Online Platform setups, demos and queries
  • Keying, setting up and pushing out payments
  • Act as the key internal link between Trading and Operations (accounts/compliance)
  • Chase outstanding contracts and deposits from clients
  • Chase and verify beneficiaries on a client account
  • Arrange trade reports for clients and Traders
  • Manage received funds and related queries
  • Pull Traders KPI reports for daily strategy analysis
  • Automation projects - liaise with IT teams for system enhancements

The Team consists of 5 Traders and 2 Customer Support Executives. They are a very hardworking and ambitious team with a healthy competitive environment. Supportive of each other and regularly meet up outside of work. Highly self-critical of their work and efforts to grow and be better, whilst always maintaining a positive and supportive atmosphere.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a keen Interest in global markets, trading and account management. They provide regular monthly catch ups as well as one-to-one sales training. You will develop skills in sales, relationship management, FX dealing and business, to name a few.

The team are highly supportive and will provide guidance and training alongside the formal sessions, however the successful candidate will be expected to drive their own learning, using his or her initiative to forge key internal contacts and develop knowledge and skills related to FX and business outside of working hours.

Career Progression - In order to accommodate the business' current levels of growth, they have expanded their Trading team. This role has a clearly mapped-out career progression plan, for the right candidate. Whilst the role is heavily weighted towards customer service and administrative duties, there is scope for progression into an account management position, as the business continues to grow and demands on the Senior Trading team increases.
