Trust Fundraiser

A great opportunity to work in the fundraising team of a well-known local charity.  Rowcroft Hospice is a registered charity dedicated to the provision of hospice care for adults with life-limiting conditions and their families in South Devon. 

Contract type: Temporary (1 year) 
Hours: 28-37.5 hours per week 

We are looking to recruit a talented and experienced Trust Fundraiser to Rowcroft’s dynamic fundraising team.

This is a hands-on role for someone with good, demonstrable experience in delivering trust fundraising income and who is familiar with managing relationships with charitable trusts and foundations.

Joining a friendly, established Fundraising team, you will be expected to collaborate closely with colleagues within the team and within the charity to identify both capital and revenue projects suitable for funding; from small items of equipment to large capital projects and staff salary projects.

You will be expected to take on the management of some existing relationships as well as generating your own strong prospect pipeline and support the delivery of the trust strategy to grow our portfolio of small, medium and large funders and multi-year funders.

You will have excellent written and interpersonal skills and have the drive to succeed. You’ll be experienced in writing creative and compelling cases for support and have a good record of securing income from trusts and foundations. Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, are required as is an up to date knowledge of prospecting sources.
