Imagine if your job was to support, coach and mentor ex-offenders to re-integrate back into society? Combine that with joining a charity that has won awards for being a great place to work and heaps of benefits including 28 days leave plus bank hols - and you end each week knowing you are doing good things at an organisation that looks after and develops you.

You will be working with ex-offenders who have already been provided support on resettling from upon release, and are now ready to move into employment. The focus of your position is to support them to find work. You will do this through providing advice and guidance around applying for jobs, writing covers letters and preparing for interviews.

You will also work directly with employers in the local area, and will be comfortable researching the local labour market and building up a network of suitable companies.
You will manage your own diary, so where you go each week could well vary, depending on caseload numbers in each area and you will be based out of the local probation centre.

If you have a background in helping unemployed job seekers back into work and have an understanding of the challenges faced by vulnerable client, this could be a nice move for you. Please apply via this advert.
People with a background as a Hostel Support Worker, Supported Housing Officer, Recruitment Consultant, Employment Coach, Job Coach, or having worked in Employer Engagement would be welcome to apply. As would those with a background of working in a prison or with ex-offenders
