Salary: up to GBP40,000 + benefits and bonus (flexible dependent upon experience)

Our client is a well-established leader within the Events Catering industry. They have recently seen significant growth, which they very much aim to continue. The industry is extremely fast paced, supporting many of the UK's largest festivals and events, making it a very exciting and rewarding sector in which to work. The industry is evolving quickly with the use of new technology and social media, providing ongoing opportunity for their further development as a brand leader in their field.

The industry has now become an all year round proposition with events throughout the calendar but there is a significant peak during the Spring to late Summer period, during which, they will recruit as many as 600/700 temporary staff every weekend, events often requiring staff from 08.00 through to 05.00 the following morning???

Our client is undertaking an ambitious growth strategy and now require a dedicated Recruitment and Staffing Operations Manager to manage their ever increasing requirement for staff. This role is to ensure the effective delivery of staffing solutions to all events in line with company standards, operational requirements and legal obligations, ensuring that all are properly inducted, fully compliant, well trained and are engaged with the organisation and its brand. In the role you will review and develop all existing processes and procedures, manage the entire recruitment end to end function, develop and manage third party relationships in order to create a reliable, efficient and profit focussed division. You will possess a strong personality, able to manage expectations, communicate effectively at all levels and to lead and develop a team.

The role will be responsible for sourcing, engaging with staff, their recruitment, managing and evolving an on-going relationship with a vast database of potential and former staff, ensuring compliance (as per company policy and employment law) and managing them, their transport to and from events and their welfare once they're onsite.

The role will require significant travel and weekend working. You will have experience within an operational staffing role, be adept in your ability to recruit large numbers of staff quickly, with a proven track record of working with Universities or other suitable bodies or organisations in order to engage with students/potential temporary employees.
