SG Personnel was formed in 2013 as a market leading recruiter supplying temporary operatives into manufacturing and distribution sectors in the North East. Due to continued expansion, we are looking to recruit a driven and talented individual to work within the business as a recruiter and account manager within our service delivery team.
In brief, there is no requriement for business development within the role. This is a service delivery role which will have elements of account management and recruitment. However, this role will involve a lot of hard work, long hours and requires a determined candidate with a large amount of resilience.
Duties will include:
Working as a trusted recruitment partner with our clients - manufacturing and distribution companies.
Building relationships when problems are guaranteed to occur.
Working with colleagues to ensure a good flow of candidates for vacancies.
Interviewing, checking registration paperwork and screening candidates.
Filling temporary roles at short notice with candidates from the system and memory.
Resolving personnel issues at short notice.
Visiting our clients to deliver pre-start briefs for workers.
Supporting the Senior Account Manager in their role when not in the office
The ideal candidate:
Pursuasive, efficeint and accurate in their work
Clear and concise communicator - can deliver a brief and engage people
The work will be 80% telephone, 20% face to face
A quick thinking, problem solver
Ability to recall facts
Must be able to work under pressure and prioritise multiple tasks at the same time
Happy to work the hours required to meet our clients' needs - this will often involve calls out of hours and away from the office
