KCR are looking for a Credit and Risk Administrator for an excellent client in the centre of Newcastle. The main purpose of the role is to ensure compliance with credit risk procedures while supporting the implementation of the credit policy and collection of arrears. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of a credit control department and be able to work to tight deadlines.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Assists in the process of income recovery from overseas customers
  • Carry out dip sampling to review compliance with policy
  • Monitor compliance with prudential lending limits, checking changes to Country Risk assessment and advising Lending Team Administrators as necessary
  • Lead on monthly reporting of arrears and attend arrears committee
  • Review implementation of the Anti-Money Laundering Policy by testing that procedures are being followed and the correct information is gathered and recorded, in relation to both customers and members
  • Administration support for arrears, Anti-Money Laundering and prudential limit adherence processes
  • Review implementation of Credit Policy through sampling of lending documentation
  • Prepare documentation for credit risk, Anti-Money Laundering and arrears reporting for Board reports. Ensures recovery action is taken in line with policies and procedures
  • Ensures that appropriate documentation exists to support all Anti-Money-Laundering procedures
  • Prepare monthly arrears report and attend Arrears Committee to discuss with Finance Director, Head of Lending and Head of Technology & Risk
  • Takes responsibility for review of daily exception reports
