The Company Group Accountant Role

A fantastic opportunity for a dedicated, high-calibre Company Group Accountant to be instrumental in the development and growth of our business. The role requires a self-motivated and focused person who will quickly establish themselves as a key contact within the business.

Suitable candidates will already have Motor trade experience and the role may also appeal to established Assistant Accountants within the motor trade also.

To be considered for the Company Group Accountant role, extensive motor retail experience is essential along with a track record of success in business and operational support.

Company Group Accountant Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Provision of financial information for Group £75,000,000 turnover internally and externally.
+ Ensuring financial control and maximising working capital is key and you will have an up to date understanding and knowledge of all financial matters including VAT and taxation.
+ Manage accounts for all 5 centres of the business.
+ Liaise with auditors and tax advisors.
+ Liaise with HMRC and other Government Bodies
+ Negotiation of contracts with outside suppliers.
+ Experience with Pinnacle system is an advantage.

About You:

+ Ideally AAT, ACCA or CIMA qualified
+ Automotive / Motor trade experience
