Due to rapid growth, this family owned Electrical Contractor, nominated to be ‘Contractor of the year’ are seeking a full time, permanent and experienced Electrician - qualified to NVQ level 3 -to carry out electrical installations and reactive repair works on lighting systems and shop fittings in commercial businesses throughout the South of the UK.

LOCATION:  A field-based role covering London and the South of the UK. 

You may be looking for ONSITE Electrician jobs in Oxford, West London, Epsom, Slough, Camberley, Woking, Guildford, Reading, Basingstoke, Farnborough, Swindon, Maidenhead, SW London, Surrey, Berkshire areas. You must be willing to travel and possess a full UK driving licence.

SALARY:  £37,000 - £40,000 plus benefits, company vehicle, working away allowance, tools & uniform provided, 28 days holiday, training and development.

HOURS:  Full Time, 40-hour week.  

As a fully qualified electrician, you will be responsible for planned, preventative and reactive maintenance, fault finding and repairs in occupied commercial premises across Central London and the South of the UK.

This is a varied and exciting role:

* Managing electrical and lighting applications in designated flagship stores.

* Reactive diagnostics and repairs to breakdowns/ power failures.

* Responding to ad hoc requests from customer such as plumbing/ general maintenance.

As well as NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations, you will have a sound knowledge of regulations in commercial lighting and wiring systems, with relevant inspecting and testing qualifications, as well as the ability to work independently, to problem solve and rectify electrical faults.

You will be a self-motivated, energetic, ‘hands-on’ Electrician, possibly a multi skilled electrician/ tradesperson who can turn your hand to anything. You will take real pride in the quality of your work, still maintain the energy to work at a fast pace to ensure works are completed on time and to the required health and safety standards.
