Are you a multi-skilled Tradesperson with an Electrical bias?

Do you have On-Site Electrical Maintenance experience?

Due to rapid growth, this family owned Electrical Contractor, nominated to be ‘Contractor of the year’ are now looking for a full-time, permanent Electrical Improver with the technical ability to carry out small planned maintenance works for commercial businesses throughout the UK. 

ELECTRICAL IMPROVER – COMMERCIAL

LOCATION:  A field-based role covering London and the South of the UK. 

You may be looking for ONSITE electrical maintenance jobs in West London, Oxford, Epsom, Slough, Camberley, Woking, Guildford, Reading, Basingstoke, Farnborough, Swindon, Maidenhead, SW London, Surrey, Berkshire areas. You must be willing to travel and possess a full UK driving licence.

SALARY:  £24,000 - £28,000 plus benefits, company vehicle, working away allowance, tools & uniform provided, 28 days holiday, training and development.

HOURS:  Full Time, 40-hour week.  No weekend work required.

As an Electrical Improver, working remotely, no day is ever the same! Reporting to Contracts Managers, you will be carrying out minor electrical works in occupied commercial buildings, meeting with clients, working to deadlines and busy schedules. Your daily duties will include:

* Managing electrical and lighting applications in designated retail stores.

* Routine maintenance and testing of lighting, lamps, light fittings, sockets and cables.

* Fault finding, rewiring and monitoring of lamping and lighting systems.

* Helping to assist the Electricians with the job in hand.

* Responding to ad hoc requests from customer.

With the ability to work independently and to problem solve, you could be a ‘hands-on’ Multi-Trade Technician, experienced in rectifying minor electrical faults and preferably a background in electrical commercial lighting.

You will be a self-motivated, energetic, practical person with a positive “can do” attitude, someone who can pick up new skills easily and achieve results with minimum supervision.  You will take real pride in the quality of your work, still maintain the energy to work at a fast pace to ensure works are completed on time and to the required health and safety standards.
