We are now looking to expand our team of Prisoner Custody Team Managers across Scotland. These are full time, permanent positions, paying GBP25,399.92. Please be aware that to be considered for this role, you will require a full UK driving license.

Your New Role

Becoming a Prisoner Custody Team Manager with GEOAmey, you will be responsible for managing a team. You will be responsible for ensuring that we provide a safe environment for prisoners in compliance with all contractual requirements and ensuring all GEOAmey Policy and procedures are implemented to achieve business objectives. On a daily basis, this will involve:

-Leading, managing and coaching team members within the Vehicle Base and escorting environments
-Daily allocation of staff to meet the operational task, and ensuring full optimisation of resources
-Conducting daily briefings before commencement of each shift
-Ensuring that standard operating procedures are managed, updated and communicated where necessary
-Conducting health and safety inspections and risk assessment
-Processing data and generating management reports as directed
-Responding to incidents and emergencies within your area
-Liaising with all external stakeholders as required, ensuring that contractual issues are resolved, and mutual understanding and co-operation is achieved
-Managing vehicles to GEOAmey policies, ensuring all relevant vehicle legislation is adhered to

Our Business

GEOAmey provide all court custody and escorting services in Scotland, based from eight vehicle bases and covering all court locations. In total, we expect to conduct around 170,000 prisoner movements each year, in addition to providing officers to manage court custody suites and staff court docks.
