Flourish Education are currently working with a mainstream Wolverhampton Primary school. The school require an outstanding level 3 teaching assistant, who is team teach trained. The school is based in Walsall and require someone to work on a full time, long-term basis. This role is to work on a 1:1 basis with pupils that have Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), therefore pupils on occasion can become aggressive and disruptive.
The ideal candidate must have recent schools experience and have previously worked with pupils with challenging behaviour.
The role is required to start ASAP (September 2019) and will be ongoing for the academic year.
To apply to this role you will need the following
Relevant Level 3 qualification or above
Team Teach trained
At least 1 year of experience within Primary Schools
Extensive experience of working with children with Special Needs in particular challenging behaviour
Experience of working on a 1:1 basis
A good reference from your most recent school
Excellent behaviour management
Responsibilities
?? To work on a 1:1 basis with a child with EBD
?? To effectively manage the behaviour and routines of the children
?? Encourage child's development and improve their access to the curriculum
