Our client is looking to appoint a Supervisor who will be responsible for the supervision of the Monitoring & Response Operator Team. The Centre provides a range of services 24 hours a day including TeleCare monitoring, lone worker protection and emergency / out of office hours services to other organisations.

 

 

The successful candidate will supervise and support staff, manage staff rotas and arrange appropriate cover as required. The role will also involve you assisting with the recruitment, induction and training of staff, carrying out regular team meetings and briefings, producing reports for clients, promoting and demonstrating our services to existing and prospective customers.

 

 

Their ideal candidate will have previous managerial experience within a similar environment, as well as experience of providing support services to older and other vulnerable people and delivering excellent customer service.  As an excellent communicator you will have the ability to deal with stressful situations in a calm manner; whilst dealing with enquiries in an empathic and tactful way. 

 

 

A driving licence and the use of a car is essential, as is the ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the business, this includes participation in a 24 hour rolling rota. 

 

 

*Subject to satisfactory performance in this role, incremental progression may be available on a two-yearly basis. Currently the top of this grade is £33,984 per annum.

 

 

** Flexible working over a seven day rota (to include days, evenings, nights and weekend working)
