Our client is the main provider of further and higher education in Wiltshire and is fast on its way to becoming outstanding having achieved a good Ofsted grade in June 2018.


They are currently seeking an Apprentice Performance Manager to join their Trowbridge campus. Within this role you will take responsibility for all aspects of the Apprenticeship journey, experience and achievement, setting the standard for quality of delivery, driving continuous improvement and managing performance.


You’ll support curriculum departments to design and deliver new Apprenticeship Standards and lead on Apprenticeship quality, creating an outstanding learner and employer experience. Innovative in your approach, you’ll explore best practice in the sector and implement new ideas for growth, represent the college at events and implement and embed comprehensive apprentice progress tracking.


The successful candidate will ideally be degree level qualified and hold an Assessor Award (or equivalent). You will have in depth knowledge of best practice when it comes to Apprenticeship delivery and you’ll have experience of managing administration and audit. A track record of raising performance is essential as is experience of managing change and implementing new practice / process. You’ll be a skilled communicator who can influence at all levels and has a determined and can do approach.

Early in 2017 the College was awarded more than £20million of government Local Growth Fund money via the Swindon and Wiltshire Local Enterprise Partnership (SWLEP) to invest in its Salisbury and Lackham campuses. The plans include redeveloping the Salisbury campus and introducing a new Life Science curriculum there, while Lackham will see the construction of an Agricultural Technology Centre and the introduction of a higher education centre which will house incubation space for land-based businesses.
