Our client is one of the largest further and higher education colleges in the country, offering over 1000 courses to over 26,000 students every year.

They are looking to appoint a Reception Administrator and Support role to join their small team within the 14-16 College based at their Hull site. This is a term time position which involves working 40 weeks per year.

Within the role you will lead the 14-16 College access processes for students and visitors. Acting as the first point of contact for attendance and messages, you will ensure a strong customer service focus is maintained at all times, delivering communications of a compulsory education reception area. Administering student support functions and maintaining confidential information either by paper based or electronic filing, you will manage reception planning and lead and support projects whilst ensuring efficient running of the 14-16 College functions which includes parents and students’ events.

They are looking for someone who has a Business Administration Qualification at Level 2, or equivalent, coupled with previous relevant experience of working in a customer focused environment. With experience of attendance monitoring and excellent communication skills, you will have a professional and responsible attitude to colleagues and clients.

A working knowledge of an FE college or similar is desired but not essential. What is important is that you have high standards of accuracy, are able to work with confidential data and have a flexible approach as occasionally you will need to work evenings and weekends.
