Marketing Communications Assistant

Are you an experienced Marketing Communications Assistant with a broad marketing skill set including digital expertise, that could assist supporting with the execution of marketing campaigns, internal communications, organising events, and managing various digital platforms including but not limited to Social Media? Pursuit Resources are currently recruiting for a Marketing Communications Assistant for our client, an industry-leading, well established manufacturing company in the Essex area.
Working as part of a dynamic and fast-paced team, you will be assisting with the execution of marketing campaigns, internal communications, organising events, and managing various digital platforms including but not limited to Social Media.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Admin
Project management of translation projects for marketing materials
Processing purchase orders and supplier invoices
Conducting various desk research e.g. researching suppliers and negotiating rates
Ordering merchandise
Event logistics including organising shipments
Handling customer enquiries and operating Live Chat
Qualifying and nurturing leads
Uploading leads to the CRM
Maintaining sales and marketing contact lists
Proofreading
Document storage and administration
Creating surveys
Other ad hoc activities as requiredEducation
- Diploma or other certificate in Marketing
Experience/ knowledge
- Sound general admin experience.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and to tight deadlines.
- Experience working in a team environment and with multiple internal stakeholders.
- Experience managing supplier relationships and negotiations.
- Experience handling customer enquiries and marketing leads.
- Experience planning and executing marketing campaigns.
- Experience in event planning and logistics.
- Experience managing social media accounts.
- Experience running paid and organic search marketing strategies.
- Experience conducting telemarketing campaigns.
- Experience working an industrial multinational company and diverse team.
- Experience in the marketing of industrial equipment (e.g. hydraulics, electronics, software
- Knowledge of lead generation and CRM marketing tools including (url removed) CRM, HubSpot.
- Knowledge of marketing analytics tools e.g. Google Analytics.
- Knowledge of survey tools e.g. SurveyMonkey
