Advanced Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Production Team Leader / Supervisor to join our client's fast paced production site. We are interested to hear from candidates who have strong people management skills, who have managed a large number of staff.
Responsibilities:
* Organising staff rotas and managing holidays in a productive manner.
* Managing staff hours
* Improve team morale
* Keeping the workplace and work practise safe and hygienic.
* Ensuring 100% delivery on time (D.O.T)
* Achieving cost per unit target for every production run.
* Strict adherence to health and safety/environmental legislation
* Ensure all safety checks are carried out by only authorised persons
* Supervise the setting up of equipments efficiently for high quality products while minimizing wastages.
* Coaching and developing line team members.
* Keeping the work area free from danger of accidents.
* Update production manager on all issues or relevant information from shifts
* Achieving efficiency targets for line and team.
* Driving performance of team and line to maximize efficiency
* Team and individual performance management
