Are you an experienced manager living around the Exeter area. Are you looking to work for a rapidly expanding multinational company which is seeking a long term prospect to direct operations in the South West?
As Director of operations, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of company life. The role will involve overseeing the production and sales departments in addition to leading all tendering and sales negotiations at director level.
On occasion you will be required to travel overseas for client visits and all expenses will be covered by the company.
Your responsibilities will include:
Tendering for contracts at senior level and negotiating complex contracts.
Liaising with Production and Sales Manager to ensure the effective day to day running of the company.
Overseeing day to day operations and dealing with issues as they arise
Meeting with clients both in the UK and overseas to ensure business retention and continued growth.
Reporting to Managing Director on a weekly and monthly basis.
Key Skills:
Minimum 5 years management experience
Degree qualified or equivalent
Manufacturing/ clothing background
