We now have an opportunity for a Speech and Language Therapist to join the team at Inscape House School, the role is - 37.5 hours per week on a 43 week contract, actual salary £23,729 - £27,235.  Inscape is a specialist independent school for children aged 5-19 with Autism Spectrum Conditions.

As our Speech and Language Therapist you will...

Provide assessments, interventions and monitoring for children and young people with Autism Spectrum Conditions. Working as a member of our additional support team you will be responsible for independently managing a clinical caseload of students who present with different needs. You will contribute to the ongoing development of the therapy team at Inscape and the wider therapy team. You should have a strong and existing  knowledge of current theories and models of practice and have a sound understanding of relevant assessment and outcome measures, you will naturally be able to embed therapy into learning activities and communicate effectively with teaching staff in order to implement these ways of working. As part of the wider team at Inscape you will be expected to participate in the life of the school and support the ethos of the Trust.

About You...

You will be an excellent communicator, have great interpersonal skills, Good presentation skills, both verbal and written and have the ability to work flexibly and as part of a Team. You need a well established knowledge of assessment tools relevant to this client group and a well established knowledge of a range of therapeutic interventions. You must have knowledge of standards of clinical record keeping.

You will hold a relevant degree/diploma in Speech and Language Therapy and be a current member of the Health Professionals Council.
