Covering our schemes in Buxton, New Mills, Derby, Chesterfield and Nottingham, the Neighbourhood Housing Officer will provide an outstanding customer orientated service to all of our residents, applicants and partners across localities; empowering our residents to live independently and engage with JJH.
Managing and motivating a team of Independent Living Coordinators and scheme staff, you will deliver an inclusive, accessible, consistent, effective and efficient service to residents and seek continuous improvements to achieve top quartile housing management performance and customer satisfaction.
About you
We’re looking for an individual who has a good standard of education, to GCSE level or equivalent including English and Maths, someone who can work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and who is willing to support, assist and provide cover for other colleagues. We’d like you to have experience of managing, training and motivating staff and be willing to consider new approaches and alternative ways of delivering an excellent customer driven service.
With strong organisational skills, you will be an excellent communicator who has the ability to influence using sensitivity and tact. You’ll need to have an understanding and experience of using a range of IT systems and proven ability to use technology to improve services. A full UK driving licence with access to a car is essential, as is flexibility to work evenings and weekends on occasions.
