A high performing, award winning organisation, Knowsley Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is responsible for planning and buying health care services on behalf of its local population.

Committed to ensuring local people feel heard, listened to and cared for, we wish to appoint a Patient and Public Involvement Lay Member to our Governing Body to represent the interests of the people of Knowsley in all aspects of the CCG’s business.

As a Lay Member, your focus will be strategic and impartial, providing an independent view of the work of the CCG that is external to the day-to-day running of the organisation. To succeed in this role you will bring specific expertise and experience, as well as your knowledge as a member of the local community.

Please note: this position is equivalent to a non-executive director level role. The term of office will be for two years (with annual review and possible 1 year extension).
