Finance Assistant (Temporary)

The Trust is looking for an enthusiastic and professional part-time Finance Assistant to join us, initially on a 12 month fixed term contract, but with potential for extension dependent on funding and business needs.

The successful applicant will be part of a finance team of four, working alongside one other part time Finance Assistant. Key duties include data entry, sales & purchase ledger account maintenance, petty cash administration & reconciliation, bank & credit card reconciliation, preparing evidence for grant claims and filing of invoices. Attention to detail is a key skill and you will maintain excellent accounting records using our accounts package, Sage 50 Accounts. Experience of this software is desirable, however transferrable skills from similar software will also be considered.

This is a part time temporary role, working 15 hours per week over 2 or 3 days. Office hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm based at CWT HQ, Allet, Truro. TR4 9DJ.

Salary £17,550 per annum (pro-rata £7,020)
